Permanent Disability Benefits
Have you sustained a permanent disability as a result of a work-related accident? As a Minnesota employee, you may have a right to receive permanent disability benefits. Permanent disability benefits may include:
- Permanent partial disability (PPD): To obtain PPD benefits, you must show that you have suffered a permanent functional loss of use to the body. PPD is often paid when a body part is permanently impaired.
- Permanent total disability (PTD): You are eligible to receive PTD benefits only if you have sustained a disabling injury that makes you incapable of working at any type of employment. As a general rule, you must show a 15% impairment or higher to obtain PPD benefits.
Retain an Experienced Attorney
